I love reading books. I developed a habit of reading books pretty early in my life and unlike many other habits, this one stayed with me till now and hopefully will be going further in future too :).
In this blog post, I wanted to share 4 of my favorite books and books that I feel can change your life and your vision towards life too.
- The Secret by Rhonda Byrne: This is my favorite book of all time. I read this book almost 4 years ago and I have read this book almost 3-4 times now. This book explains The Law of Attraction and basically explains how we are creating our life based on the thoughts we have. “Thoughts become things”. This book puts across thoughts of multiple people like Bob Proctor, Jack Canfield who themselves have changed their life using Law of Attraction and this book explains how we can too change our life using LOA.
- 7 habits of highly effective people by Stephen Covey: This is another miracle book that has ever been created in history of mankind. It is such an amazing book that explains in detail what 7 habits you need to develop in order to be highly effective and achieve all that you have on your mind.
- The Power of Now by Echart Tolle: This book is amazing for anyone who feels that they are hampering their life because of anxiety and any kind of mental issues. It teaches you the importance of Now and how all you have is this moment and that is all you require for changing your life. 🙂
- Ask and It is given: This is my favorite book I’ve ever read. I liked it so much that I’m now going to read more Esther and Jerry Hicks (Abraham) books from the Law of Attraction Series. The first book I read of a “spiritual” sort was The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. After that I read many others. I read many from the Eastern religions. Eventually I read many of the Seth books. While I got a lot out of many of those books, Ask and It Is Given is my favorite. What I liked about it so much is that its message is simple, clear, extremely positive, true, verifiable, and massively helpful. Let me give you some of the main ideas from the book. The only thing that matters is how you feel, and you have control over how you feel. Even how much you can benefit others is determined by how you feel, so your attention must be on how you feel. You choose how you feel based on what you are doing with your energy – allowing well-being to flow or resisting well-being. Well-being is always predominant, so the quality of any experience is determined by the degree to which you allow well-being to flow freely.
- The Power of Habit:
I never knew habits play such an important role in shaping our future until I read this book. It simply says, you are what your habits are, and also suggests the proven techniques to generate new habits that alter our lifestyle and eventually our life. A must read for everyone to understand the intricacies of the habit,” writes entrepreneur Kamal Sucharan Burri, recommending The Power of Habit
Well, these are the books that really helped me change my perception of life, helped me become more positive and also helped me understand all the quirks of life.
