Brooklyn is enormous and thus it is difficult to cover this place in just 1 day but in this blog article I will show how you can cover the must visit spots in Brooklyn.

I will advice you to start your day early and reach r before 10:30 AM. It would take almost 1 hour in subway if you are staying in Manhatten. Brooklyn is connected to Manhatten through different bridges.

Cafes in Brooklyn-Bedford Ave.

The first place you should go in Brooklyn is Bedford Ave. This street has plethora of good cafe options to explore and start the day on an amazing touristy note. The best ones are Cafe Beit, Trix Cafe and The Bean. We went to Trix Cafe and we loved it. We ordered Oatmeal and Croissant with Chai Tea Latte and we loved each and every thing we tried there.

The one thing I loved about brooklyn was art that you can see almost anywhere. There is a region called Buschwick in Brooklyn that has the most widest collection of Murals. So, if you are into Street Art, you should definitely give this place a visit.

I saw the best Murals ever in Brooklyn 🙂

East State River Park

After satiating yourself with yummy beverages and food, you should take a 20 minute walk to East State River Park to enjoy amazing views of Manhatten Skyline along with Manhatten Bridge.

East State River Park also has a ferry port and to explore Dumbo which is another very beautiful and unique neighborhood of Brooklyn, you can take a direct Ferry ride to Dumbo. And you can buy Ferry ticket while waiting in line 🙂

DUMBO in Brooklyn

When you reach Dumbo Port, just take a short 10 minute walk to see the most photographed place in Brooklyn, New York. The intersection of Washington Street and Water Street in Brooklyn is very famous because You can click perfect pictures with Brooklyn Bridge in background. The only downside is that because of popularity, this place is always super packed so i would recommend coming there super early if you want to get perfect Instagram pictures. 😉

After getting your pictures at this place, you should go visit Jane’s Carousel.

Brooklyn is also house to some of the best Pizza places in New York. Two very famous options in Brooklyn are Grimaldi’s and Juliana’s. And wait time in both these places are crazy. Average wait time is 30-45 minutes. But you have to try their yummy New York Style Pizza. We had to wait 45 minutes but it was worth it 😛

Expect at least a 30-40 minute wait at this place … but this Pizza is worth the wait.

After taking in 1500 calories inside your body, you would really want to burn some of the calories by walking. So, you should end your Brooklyn trip by crossing the Brooklyn Bridge. It is such an amazing experience. It is almost a 2 mile walk but it is so worth it 🙂

While walking through the Brooklyn Bridge you can enjoy the views of Manhatten, Brooklyn as well as of Liberty Island.

All in all, Brooklyn is an amazing place and I really loved exploring it.
