I don’t know a single person who doesn’t own a smart phone these days And I still remember the first thing I loved about smart phones was the plethora of apps both android and apple phones have available. And It is true that not all apps are useful to us and In reality, most of the apps that are in phones drains the most useful time from us. Can you think about a time when you had to do some important stuff but instead you spend an hour scrolling your friends’s posts on instagram ? I can think plenty of such instances.

But not all apps are like that. There exists a lot of phone apps that are not only useful but also make you much more productive and creative. I have shortlisted 5 such apps:

Forest: I came to know about this amazing app when I was preparing for my Job interviews as I was constantly getting distracted by one notification or the other. In this app, you can basically plant a tree for a set duration of time and during that time, you cannot use your phone or else your tree will die. And seeing that tree die will definitely make you sad.

5 Minute journal: If you like to journal, you must have heard about this journal. Filling thos journal takes just 5 minutes and the journal asks a lot of insightful questions like “What are you grateful for?”, “What things you want to do to make today great?” etc. I really liked the concept of this journal but I really found the journal expensive for the value it gives. It is almost 24$. So, When I came to know about the app version of this journal, I immediately wanted to try that. This app is not a free one but it is just 5$ and it is a one time purchase and after you can use this journal whenever you want. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.intelligentchange.fiveminutejournal&hl=en_US https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/five-minute-journal/id1062945251?mt=8

Mint: I just came to know about this app two months before and I love this app so much and really find it useful. If you are thinking about managing your finances and finding it difficult to adjust yourself with the assigned budget for month, you definitely need this app. With the help of mint, you can combine your Mint account with any credit card or your checking account or savings account (just to name a few) and then Mint will keep on monitoring all your expenses and intake of money. It will also monitor your expenditure with last month’s expenditure and then you can easily track if you are going crazy with your money.

Wunderlist: I have tried a lot of methods ( bullet journal, normal notepads, apps like Any.do) to manage my to-do lists before But I always found something missing in them, But I am so glad that I have finally found the best alternative and that is this amazing app called Wunderlist. Wunderlist is the easiest way to get stuff done. Whether you’re planning a holiday, sharing a shopping list with a partner or managing multiple work projects, Wunderlist is here to help you tick off all your personal and professional to-dos. And it is really easy to share your list with others, so if you want to share your grocery list with your husband, you can easily do so, he can add his own items, check the items you have placed and also check off a few items if he wishes. So, if you guys are also thinking about getting good way to manage your lists, Wunderlist is the way to go. You can find Wunderlist on your App Store, play store and if you want, even as a website. https://www.wunderlist.com. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/wunderlist-to-do-list-tasks/id406644151?mt=8. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wunderkinder.wunderlistandroid&hl=en_US
